Sillimanite Fire Brick Introduction
Sillimanite fire brick is a kind of refractory brick made of sillimanite as the raw material, sillimanite is used to produce high alumina content low creep sillimanite brick, which has high refractoriness under load, high heat shock and micro-expansion, and furnace top. Its refractoriness is 1770~1830 ℃ and the apparent initial softening temperature is 1500~1650℃. Sillimanite bricks are mainly used for molding of the throat in the glass furnace, furnace lining and furnace throat of the blast furnace, and kiln furniture in the ceramic industry.
Sillimanite Fire Bricks Manufacture Process
Sillimanite can be transformed into mullite and free silicon dioxide through high-temperature firing. Generally, Sillimanite refractory bricks are produced with sillimanite minerals through high-temperature firing method and slurry casting. Its refractoriness is 1770~1830 ℃ and the apparent initial softening temperature is 1500~1650℃.
