Ceramic Fiber Cloth Description
Ceramic fiber cloth is a woven fabric that is manufactured from high purity alumina-silicate(47% alumina, 53% silica) based ceramic fiber, free of asbestos, reinforced with fiberglass filament and optional alloy steel wire. Ceramic fiber textile is white and odorless, suitable for high temperature applications up to 1260℃. High temperature insulation ceramic cloth has excellent chemical stability and strong resistance to thermal shock and corrosion attack. Ceramic fiber insulation cloth contains certain amount of organic binder materials(necessary for fiber carding process). The organic binder will burn out at lower temperature(about 400℃) while not affect the ceramic fiber properties.
Ceramic Fiber Cloth Characteristics
Low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, high temperature stable, thermal shock resistant.
High temperature insulation cloth has excellent fire and flame proof property.
Chemical resistant, compatible with most corrosive chemicals, commonly used acid and alkali (exceptions are hydrofluoric, phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalis).
Oxidation and reduction resistance.
Lightweight, woven texture with superior handling strength.
Working Temperature : 1,000 °C for Continuous Use, 1260 °C Maximum.
