- In iron and steel industry, the chrome corundum material can prolong more than double compared to corundum material, such as ladle breathable brick; In the field of nonferrous metallurgy, the abrasive resistance and erosion resistance of chrome corundum brick is obviously better than the bricks.
- In carbon black industry, in the same condition in carbon black factory, the service life of chrome corundum brick can prolong more than double compared to corundum. The service life of chrome corundum brick used in carbon black reactor has exceed the corundum brick.
- In petroleum chemical industry, large and middle fertilizer plant vaporization furnace owing to the long-term high temperature(1350~1450℃), high pressure(3.1~8.53MPa), strong reduction atmosphere (CO+H2+CH4) and large airflow velocity(about 10m·s-1), so the erosion and destroy to furnace lining refractory is serious, so the demand of furnace lining refractory is higher.
- The high-performance chrome corundum has the characteristics of large density and high strength, compared to corundum brick, it has more anti-air source force and abrasive resistance. Add Cr2O3 into the corundum, which can make inherent quality change of product, so that the slag erosion and permeability resistance performance will be improved obviously, so the chrome corundum brick used in gasification
