Alumina Carbon Bricks Description
Alumina carbon series refractory bricks adopt bauxite clinker, corundum and graphite as main raw material, certain micro powder additives are added during mixing and then formed by isostatic compaction or mechanical pressing. Alumina carbon bricks have good micro pore index, excellent alkali resistance and thermal conductivity coefficient.
Alumina carbon bricks chemical composition is Al2O3(35%-85%) and carbon(7%-35%). Alumina carbon bricks can be divided into sintered alumina carbon brick and unburned alumina carbon brick. Alumina carbon brick has high refractoriness, good chemical stability and corrosion resistance. Alumina carbon bricks containing ZrO2 have better thermal shock resistance. Burned alumina carbon bricks containing 72%~85% alumina and 7%~8% carbon can reach 110~120MPa compression strength, modulus of rupture at 1400℃ can reach 25Mpa. The compression strength of burned alumina carbon bricks containing 35%~46% Al2O3, 30%~37% of C & SiC is between 21~28Mpa.

Alumina Carbon Bricks Application
Alumina carbon bricks can be used in furnace bosh, cooling wall of various blast furnace. Burned alumina carbon bricks belongs to ceramic bonding or ceramic carbon composite bonding material, are widely used in sliding board of sliding nozzle, long nozzle, submersed nozzle upper nozzle and collector nozzle, as well as integral stopper of continuous casting tundish, Unburned alumina carbon brick belongs to carbon bonding material, has excellent Na2O series slag corrosion resistance, its anti-oxidation capacity is significantly higher than magnesia carbon brick. So unburned alumina carbon brick is usually used in iron liquid preprocessing ladle lining and molten steel ladle lining.
