The low creep high alumina refractory brick is made of super bauxite clinker as main raw material, supplemented by special additives. It is formed by high-pressure molding and firing at high temperature. It has the advantages of large heat storage capacity and low creep rate. It is suitable for supporting hot blast stove in small and medium sized blast furnaces. It has excellent anti erosion, anti scouring, high thermal stability, can be applied to the blast furnace main ditch iron waterlline, slag line, waterline, swinging spout, residual cans, Top of main groove cover, both sides of the main groove, iron runner, slag ditch and other parts.
Properties of Low Creep High Alumina Bricks
1. Degree of Fire-Resistance
The refractoriness of high alumina brick is higher than the clay brick and semi-silica brick, can reach to 1750~1790℃， which belongs to high-duty refractory.
2.Refractoriness Under Load
Because the Al2O3 content of high alumina bricks is high with less impurities, and form less fusible vitreous, so the refractor under load is higher than clay bricks.
3. Slag Resistance
High alumina brick has more Al2O3, which is close to neutral refractories, and can resist erosion of acid slag and basic slag. Because of its SiO2 content, the ability to resist basic slag is weaker than that of acid slag.
