Mullite Insulation Castable Introduction
Mullite insulation castable is a kind of refractory castable can resist to 1400 degree temperature, which is using corundum as aggregate and powder plus a number of binder prepared by the refractory castable. Lightweight mullite refractory castable has the better mechanical strength and anti-wear properties than the high-alumina refractory castable and mullite refractory castable, but the thermal shock performance slightly worse. Mainly used as boilers, blast furnace hot stove, furnace, ceramic kilns and other kiln lining material.
