Heat Radiation Refractory Coating Material Description
Heat radiation refractory coating material is the kind of coating material, which has high infrared emissivity value or has specific radiation selectivity property. Heat radiation refractory coating material can be manually coated, spray coated or molten injection to industrial furnace lining surface and form coating. Heat radiation coating material can enhance the radiation rate of the furnace wall surface and the thermal efficiency, so heat radiation coating material is also called energy saving coating material.
When high temperature high emissive coating material is coated to refractory lining, the energy conversion efficiency from input energy to radiation energy will be increased. Some metal oxides, carbides nitrides and borides can have good radioactive ratio and can be used to produce coating material. SiC and ZrO2-CaO-SiO2 series materials are usually used as base material of coating materials.

SiC thermal radiation coating material is made from SiC powder material, bonder and additives. Bonder types include organic silica collosol, phosphate, silicate or borate.

ZrO2-CaO-SiO2 Thermal Radiation Coating Material
ZrO2-CaO-SiO2 series thermal radiation coating materials are made from ZrO2 clinker, bonder and additives. The radiance of ZrO2-CaO-SiO2 coating material is not high at near infrared spectrum , but the refractoriness , structural strength and high temperature corrosion resistance. The working temperature of the coating material is between 800 and 1450℃, the average thermal radiation ratio is higher than 0.9. ZrO2-CaO-SiO2 coating material can be used as coating layer of electric furnace working lining and natural gas heating furnace working lining to realize about 10% of energy saving effect.
