Ceramic Fiber Rope Description

Ceramic fiber rope is produced from high temperature ceramic fiber yarn reinforced with metal wire or fiberglass filament carrier and is suitable for high temperature applications up to 1260℃. Ceramic fiber rope’s main material ceramic fiber is produced from high purity alumina silicate through strictly controlled high temperature furnace melting and fiberizing process. There are mainly 3 types of ceramic fiber rope which include ceramic fiber twisted rope, ceramic fiber round braided rope, ceramic fiber square braided rope. Ceramic fiber twisted rope is produced by twisting multiple plies of ceramic fiber wicking together features with multi-strand structure, soft but with good handling strength. Ceramic fiber round braided rope features with round braid structure, medium density with enhanced tensile and abrasion-resisting strength. Ceramic fiber square braided rope has firm square structure for tight sealing applications, high density, enhanced tensile and abrasion-resisting strength.
