Alumina Silicon Carbide Carbon Brick Descriptions
Alumina silicon carbide carbon brick is a kind of alumina compound refractory bricks which’s main materials are fused corundum (or sintered corundum, supreme class bauxite clinker), 90%~95% fixed carbon containing graphite, silicon carbide, and additives. The production processes of alumina silicon carbide carbon bricks are mixing-forming-drying-high temperature sintering. Al2O3-SiC-C brick has excellent thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, so it is widely used in iron making industry, such as iron ladle working lining, tapping hole, etc.

Alumina Silicon Carbide Carbon Brick Applications
As alumina silicon carbide carbon brick has good slag corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and thermal shock resistance, it is widely used in iron making industry, such as blast furnace, sponge iron making furnace, COREX melt vaporizing furnace and so on. RS-ASC-A brick has high RUL, can be used at the impaction zone of the furnace, RS-ASC-B brick can be used in slag line and furnace top, RS-ASC-C is usually used at furnace hearth and furnace bottom, where constantly contact with high-temperature iron liquid and slag and causes refractory material damage. Alumina silicon carbide carbon bricks are also used at tapping hole.
