Characteristics of High Alumina Brick

A、Refractoriness

The refractoriness of high alumina fire brick is higher than that of clay brick and semi-silica brick, which can reach to 1750~1790℃, belong to high grade refractory material.

B: Refractoriness Under Load

Owing to high content of Al₂O₃  and less impurities of high alumina products, so the formed vitreous is less, so the refractoriness under load of high alumina refractory brick is lower than that of silica brick.

C: Slag-resistance Performance

High alumina refractory bricks contains high content Al₂O_3,  is close to neutral refractory brick, can resist to the erosion of acid slag and alkali slag, owing to it has SiO_2,  so the ability of alkali resistance performance is weaker than the acid resistance performance.
