Alkali Proof Castable Introduction
Alkali proof castable is used as a protective layer, which is made of high-silica and low-alkali Alkali-resistant ceramic particles. In the course of use, when the alkali gas is eroded, the high-silicon low-aluminum component reacts with the alkali gas to form a high viscosity liquid Phase, attached to the surface of the castable, the formation of enamel-like protective layer. Alkali proof castable have the characteristics of good alkali resistance, high strength, good abrasion resistance, high using temperature, alkali proof refractory castable is mainly used as refractory alkali-resistance lining for the alkali erosion parts of the furnace.
Alkali Proof Castable Raw Material
The alkali resistant refractory adopt fireproof aggregates (aggregate and powder) used in high temperature include electrofused spinel, chrome corundum, aluminum chromium slag, sintering or electrofusion zirconia and zircon. The binder is made of calcium aluminate cement and silica powder, and sodium silicate solution is also used as binder.
